Sun Mar 02 15:50:00 UTC 2025: ## Trump’s AI-Generated Gaza Video Sparks Outrage

**WASHINGTON, D.C.** – President Trump’s latest social media post, an apparently AI-generated video depicting a fantastical, opulent Gaza Strip rebuilt under his leadership, has ignited widespread condemnation from Arab and Muslim communities both domestically and internationally.

The video, which features Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sunbathing in Gaza, a glitzy resort dubbed “TRUMP GAZA,” and other surreal elements including a golden Trump statue and men in drag dancing on a beach, has been widely criticized as offensive and insensitive. The video also depicts children emerging from rubble into a luxurious setting and Elon Musk showered with cash.

The post follows Trump’s recent suggestion that the U.S. should seize control of the Gaza Strip and relocate Palestinians. Gaza residents, many of whom have limited internet access, expressed anger to NPR, rejecting the video’s portrayal as superficial and insulting. One resident, 20-year-old Mohamed Abdelrahman, stated, “We won’t be lured by a few statues and money, leave us alone and let us rebuild our homes by ourselves.”

Faye Nemer, CEO of the MENA American Chamber of Commerce, a Trump voter, called for the video’s removal and a conciliatory statement from the President, deeming the video counterproductive to peace efforts.

The White House defended the video, echoing Trump’s previous assertions that Gaza is uninhabitable and claiming his plan represents a visionary approach to rebuilding the region and resettling Palestinians. However, the statement’s optimistic tone stands in stark contrast to the overwhelmingly negative reaction to the video’s fantastical and arguably mocking portrayal of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
