**Chennai, March 2, 2025** – Actor Naga Chaitanya addressed over 20,000 students from across India and 16 countries at the conclusion of VIT Chennai’s ninth annual Vibrance international cultural and sports festival. Chaitanya encouraged students to dream big, prioritize originality, and strive for excellence in their education. He discussed the challenges of portraying a fisherman in his latest film, *Thandel*, emphasizing the importance of shedding light on the lives of such communities. He also revealed his dream role would be a biopic of his grandfather, Nageswara Rao, and expressed a desire to work with directors Mani Ratnam and S.S. Rajamouli.

VIT Founder-Chancellor G. Viswanathan highlighted the institution’s commitment to education as a tool to combat poverty, mentioning the Universal Higher Education Trust’s 10,000 scholarships and a recent ₹1 crore donation from staff for additional scholarships.
