**CHARLOTTE, NC** – The wildly popular Savannah Bananas are bringing their unique brand of baseball to Charlotte for a second game this summer, the Charlotte Sports Foundation (CSF) announced Thursday. Due to overwhelming demand, a second game has been added at Bank of America Stadium on Friday, June 6th, in addition to the previously scheduled game on Saturday, June 7th.

The announcement follows the Banana Ball team’s incredibly successful 2023 season, which included sold-out games at six Major League ballparks. Their appearance in Kannapolis last year also drew a massive crowd.

Tickets for both Charlotte games will be distributed via a lottery system to fans already on the Banana Ball Lottery List. Danny Morrison, executive director of the CSF, expressed excitement about the added game, highlighting the significant fan interest in the team’s unique style of play. He stated that the decision reflects the “power of Banana Ball and the passion of their fans.”
