**New Delhi, India** – Samsung has officially launched its latest mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A56, A36, and A26, boasting impressive features and extended software support. All three models share a vibrant 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz Super AMOLED display with high brightness, reaching up to 1900 nits peak brightness on the A56 and A36.
The Galaxy A56 stands out as the first phone to utilize the Exynos 1580 4nm SoC, while the A36 features the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC. The A26 uses the Exynos 1380. All three phones offer IP67 dust and water resistance, with the A56 adding a metal frame.
A key selling point is the extended software support: all three will receive up to six years of Android OS and One UI updates, along with six years of security updates. The A56 5G Enterprise Edition goes even further, promising seven years of updates, a three-year warranty, and a two-year product lifecycle guarantee, plus a Knox Suite license.
Camera capabilities vary slightly across the models. All feature a 50MP main lens with OIS, but the A56 and A36 support 10-bit HDR recording. The A56 includes a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 5MP macro sensor, while the A36 and A26 offer 8MP and 2MP ultrawide and macro sensors, respectively. The A56 also boasts a “Best Face” feature for group photos and enhanced Nightgraphy. The A36 and A26 include an improved Object Eraser.
Battery life is powered by a 5,000mAh battery across the range, with 45W fast charging for the A56 and A36, and 25W for the A26.
The Galaxy A56, A36, and A26 will be available globally starting this March, with the A56 5G launching in the US later in the year. A range of stylish colors is offered for each model.
