Sat Mar 01 17:25:40 UTC 2025: ## Class 11 Student Shot Dead in Aligarh Daylight Attack
**ALIGARH, INDIA –** A class 11 student was fatally shot and stabbed in broad daylight in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. The incident occurred near the AMU ABK Union School.
According to Aligarh Muslim University Proctor Mohamad Waseem Ali, CCTV footage shows the victim, Mohammad Kaif of Sayed Hamid Senior Secondary School (Boys), sitting on his scooter with three friends when a group of men approached them. A fight broke out, resulting in Kaif being shot and stabbed. The assailants fled the scene before security and police arrived.
Kaif was rushed to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival. Police are currently preparing a First Information Report (FIR) based on a complaint filed by the victim’s family. The investigation is ongoing.
