Sun Mar 02 11:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Elon Musk Sued for Custody of Infant Son by Alleged Mother
**NEW YORK, NY** – Ashley St. Clair, a 26-year-old author, has filed a paternity and custody petition against Elon Musk in New York Supreme Court, seeking sole legal custody of their infant son, R.S.C., born in September 2024. The petition, filed Friday, February 21st, alleges that Musk, despite acknowledging paternity in text messages, has had minimal involvement in the child’s life, meeting him only three times since his birth.
St. Clair claims their relationship began in May 2023, resulting in R.S.C.’s conception in January 2024. She presented text message exchanges as evidence of Musk’s acknowledgement of paternity, including a message stating, “I look forward to seeing you and him this weekend,” sent after she shared a photo of the newborn. She also cites a concerning text from Musk regarding security, claiming he said, “If I make a mistake on security, [R.S.C.] will never know his father.”
According to the petition, Musk’s visits with R.S.C. consisted of two hours on September 21st, 2024, one hour the following day, and a final 30-minute visit on November 30th, 2024. St. Clair’s lawyer, Karen B. Rosenthal, stated that attempts to resolve the matter privately had been unsuccessful, leading to the court filing. The petition also requests child support.
The lawsuit comes amidst public turmoil surrounding Musk’s family life. Just one day prior, Grimes, Musk’s former partner and mother of three of his children, publicly pleaded on X for Musk to address a medical crisis affecting one of their children. Grimes’s plea highlighted Musk’s alleged lack of communication and concern.
St. Clair’s representative stated that she made every effort to collaborate with Musk before resorting to legal action. Musk’s representatives have yet to comment on the matter. This lawsuit adds another layer of complexity to Musk’s already widely publicized personal life, bringing his total number of alleged children to thirteen.
