SAN DIEGO (October 26, 2023) – Following their historic upset victory over the LA Galaxy last week, San Diego FC is gearing up for its highly anticipated home debut at Snapdragon Stadium this Saturday. The team expects a sellout crowd of 35,000, with the first 30,000 fans receiving a free team scarf.
Pre-game festivities will kick off at 2:30 p.m. with parking lot openings and tailgating, followed by a fan fest from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., featuring live music, kids’ activities, a beer garden, and merchandise stands.
To ease traffic congestion, San Diego FC and the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) are encouraging fans to utilize the Trolley. Two dedicated Trolley trains will run along the Green Line, with an estimated 5,000 to 7,000 fans expected to use this transportation option. Round-trip fares cost $5, and a discounted season pass is available for $56.
