**Puducherry, March 1, 2025** – A delegation of 22 Puducherry legislators, including Speaker R. Selvam and several ministers, departed for Nepal on Saturday for a week-long visit. The trip, at the invitation of the Nepalese government, will see the delegation visiting the Federal Parliament of Nepal.
The group comprises a significant portion of the 33-member Puducherry Assembly, with 22 of the 30 elected MLAs participating. Many legislators travelled to New Delhi on Saturday to catch their flight to Nepal. Their return to Puducherry is scheduled for March 7th, according to a government source.
