**CHARLOTTE, NC** – Charlotte FC is gearing up for a highly anticipated rivalry match with a full day of fan activities and stadium upgrades at Bank of America Stadium. The festivities kick off at 10:00 a.m. with a supporters’ tailgate at 703 McNinch St. A pre-match party on Legends Row, between the North and East Gates, will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., featuring games, food, and giveaways.
Fans can enjoy free Bojangles’ Bo Berry Chicken Waffles (while supplies last), participate in Ally’s giant soccer skeeball game, and enter the Ally Racing Open Road Sweepstakes for a chance to win a truck, camper, and VIP NASCAR experience. The Thompson organization will also be present, promoting their work with at-risk youth.
Early entry to the stadium begins at 12:00 p.m. via the Blue Cross NC East Gate. The first fans will receive a limited-edition CLTFC snapback hat (courtesy of Ally). The Upper Bowl is open for the match.
The pre-match show starts at 2:15 p.m., followed by the US National Anthem performed by Paul Oakley Stovall and a special appearance by Carolina Panthers Head Coach Dave Canales. New this year is the introduction of RFID technology at the Team Store, promising a faster and more efficient shopping experience.
Fans are encouraged to download or update the Charlotte FC app for mobile ticketing and other matchday information. Food and beverage options include new menu items like the Southern Pimento Cheese Dog and Burger, and Southern Fried Chicken Drumsticks.
