Sat Mar 01 03:05:33 UTC 2025: ## Andhra Pradesh CM Naidu Urges TDP to Promote State Budget Initiatives

**AMARAVATI, March 1, 2025** – Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has called on Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders to actively promote the recently unveiled 2025-26 state budget among the public. Addressing a TDP meeting following the budget’s presentation in the Assembly on February 28th, Naidu emphasized the role of MLAs as bridges between the government and citizens.

The meeting, attended by Union and State Ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and other key TDP figures, also focused on the newly introduced ‘P4 policy’ (Public-Private-People Partnership). Naidu highlighted several key achievements of his government, including the eradication of potholes within six months of taking office, a pension increase from ₹3,000 to ₹4,000, and the revitalization of the Amaravati and Polavaram projects. He also credited the NDA government for preventing the privatization of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and for establishing the Visakhapatnam Railway Zone.

The budget itself has drawn praise from within the TDP, with party leaders highlighting provisions such as free electricity for all government schools and the relaunch of the Adarana welfare scheme. The absence of allocations for Amaravati in the budget was explained by the Urban Development Minister as reflecting the project’s self-sustaining nature. Naidu urged TDP leaders to use upcoming field visits to inform the public about these developments and the overall benefits of the new budget.
