**PIPARIA** – The holy month of Ramadan commenced in Piparia on Saturday, with the first fast to be observed on Sunday. Three mosques in the town – Jama Masjid, Madina Masjid, and Bilal Masjid – have been beautifully decorated for the occasion.
Madina Masjid’s Imam Farhat Hussain Qadri announced the beginning of special Taraweeh prayers on Saturday and shared the message of Prophet Muhammad emphasizing the importance of devout worship and helping the needy during Ramadan. Imran Ahmad, President of Anjuman Islamia Committee, provided prayer timings: 9:45 PM for special prayers at Jama Masjid, 5:25 AM for Fajr prayers, and 6:24 PM for Iftar on Sunday.
Throughout the month-long observance, Muslims will perform the five mandatory daily prayers. Special Taraweeh prayers, including recitations from the Quran, will be held daily at all three mosques. Mosque committees have completed all necessary arrangements for worshippers.
