**Bengaluru, February 25** – Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) finally unleashed veteran all-rounder Sneh Rana in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025, handing her a debut against UP Warriorz at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium yesterday. Rana, a late addition to the RCB squad after going unsold at the auction, replaced VJ Joshitha.
The 31-year-old, who previously captained the Gujarat Giants in the inaugural WPL season, brings considerable experience to RCB. In her 12 previous WPL appearances, she amassed 47 runs and claimed six wickets. RCB management opted for Rana’s spin bowling expertise on a pitch expected to favor slow bowlers after two disappointing matches. Her performance will be key as RCB seeks to improve their standing in the tournament.
