**Baltimore, MD** – Former NFL star and current NFL Network analyst Steve Smith Sr. is facing allegations of infidelity after a since-deleted X (formerly Twitter) account published explicit text messages and a recorded phone call seemingly implicating him in an affair.

The account, belonging to a man named Tony Martinez (@Lambeaughini), claimed Smith was having a relationship with Martinez’s wife, a member of the Baltimore Ravens’ Marching Ravens band. Screenshots of purported text messages between Smith and Martinez’s wife were shared, alongside a video of a phone call. In the video, a man, presumed to be Martinez, confronts a man he identifies as Smith, who offers a mumbled apology before hanging up.

Smith, 45, has been married to his wife Angie since 2000 and has four children. He has not yet publicly commented on the allegations. The X account containing the accusations has since been removed.

Smith, a five-time Pro Bowler with a distinguished 16-year NFL career spanning the Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens, amassed 14,731 receiving yards and 81 touchdowns. His impressive career culminated in 2016. The nature of the allegations has prompted widespread attention and speculation.
