**KOCHI, February 23, 2025** – A 41-year-old woman, Bushara Beevi, died on Saturday in a motorcycle accident near Kalamassery’s Government Medical College Hospital. This marks the second fatal motorcycle accident involving a woman in the same area within a week. Police investigations suggest that the road’s uneven surface, a result of differing road materials, contributed to Beevi losing control of her scooter. She was subsequently struck by a car.
The first incident occurred on Wednesday, February 19th, when a KSEB official was killed by a lorry near the HMT Junction, just meters from a police vehicle inspection point.
