**Bengaluru, Karnataka –** UP Warriorz claimed their maiden Women’s Premier League (WPL) victory on Saturday, defeating Delhi Capitals by 33 runs in a thrilling encounter. Chinelle Henry was the star of the show, delivering a match-winning all-round performance.
After winning the toss and electing to field, Delhi Capitals initially restricted UP Warriorz, who stumbled to 89/6 at one point. However, Henry’s explosive 62 off 23 balls, featuring eight sixes, propelled the Warriorz to a competitive 177/9. Jess Jonassen was Delhi’s top bowler with 4/31.
