Sat Feb 22 21:18:15 UTC 2025: ## UP Warriorz’s Henry Blasts Record-Breaking Innings in WPL Thriller

**Mumbai, India** – Chinelle Henry smashed a record-breaking 62 runs off just 23 balls, including eight sixes, propelling the UP Warriorz to a thrilling victory in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). Henry’s knock, the highest score by a batter at No. 8 or below in Women’s T20 history, was also the fastest fifty (18 balls) jointly in the WPL. Her incredible strike rate of 269.56 was the third-highest for a WPL half-century.

The match was a statistical feast. Grace Harris achieved a hat-trick, becoming only the third bowler to do so in the WPL. Meanwhile, 21-year-old Kranti Goud became the second-youngest player to take a four-wicket haul in the tournament. Remarkably, three players – Jonassen, Goud, and Harris – each achieved four wickets in the same match, an unprecedented feat in WPL history.

Henry’s and Sophie Ecclestone’s 57-run eighth-wicket partnership also contributed to the Warriorz’s success, showcasing the team’s strength in depth. The team’s explosive death-overs scoring, with 67 runs in the final four overs, further highlighted their dominant performance. This victory underscores the high level of competition and record-breaking performances defining this season’s WPL.
