**New Delhi, Feb 23, 2025** – Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a three-day tour across Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Assam, beginning Sunday, February 23rd. The trip will focus on key development initiatives, including investment summits and the disbursement of farmer assistance.
In Madhya Pradesh, Modi will lay the foundation stone for the Bageshwar Dham Medical and Science Research Institute and inaugurate the Global Investors Summit (GIS) in Bhopal. The GIS, a two-day event, aims to position Madhya Pradesh as a global investment hub, featuring departmental summits, specialized sessions, and international participation from over 60 countries. Three major industrial exhibitions will also be held.
Moving to Bihar on Monday, the Prime Minister will release the 19th installment of the PM KISAN scheme, benefitting over 9.7 crore farmers with over ₹21,500 crore in direct financial assistance. He will also inaugurate the 10,000th Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO), a milestone in the government’s initiative to support farmers’ collective marketing efforts. Further development projects, including a Centre of Excellence for Indigenous Breeds and a milk product plant, will also be launched.
Modi’s visit concludes in Assam, where he will attend the Jhumoir Binandini, a cultural event celebrating 200 years of the tea industry and industrialization in the state. He will also inaugurate the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit, featuring ministerial sessions, thematic discussions, and a comprehensive exhibition showcasing Assam’s economic landscape.
