**Bengaluru, February 23, 2025** – Deepak Mathews assumed the role of Accountant General (Audit-I) in Bengaluru on February 21st. Mr. Mathews brings extensive experience to the position, having previously served as Director at the Cabinet Secretariat, Rashtrapati Bhavan, in New Delhi, and as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, also in New Delhi. The appointment was announced late on February 22nd.
