**Dubai, UAE** – Virat Kohli etched his name in cricketing history on Sunday, becoming the fastest batsman to reach 14,000 runs in One Day Internationals (ODIs). This record-breaking feat was achieved during India’s resounding victory over Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Kohli surpassed Sachin Tendulkar’s long-standing record, reaching the milestone in just 287 innings, compared to Tendulkar’s 350. This makes Kohli the third player to achieve 14,000 ODI runs, placing him third on the all-time list behind Sachin Tendulkar and Kumar Sangakkara.
