Sat Feb 22 14:50:00 UTC 2025: ## Chrisley Daughter Reveals Parents Haven’t Spoken Since Prison Sentences
**Atlanta, GA** – Savannah Chrisley, daughter of reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley, has revealed that her parents have not communicated since beginning their prison sentences in January 2023. In a recent interview with People magazine, Chrisley stated that the separation marks a significant break in a nearly 30-year relationship where they were inseparable.
“They don’t get to speak. It’s been two years, and they haven’t spoken a word to each other,” she said, expressing concern over the Bureau of Prisons’ policies that she claims hinder family communication. Chrisley alleges interference with mail and emails, even citing mail theft and fraud at her father’s facility.
Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted in 2022 on charges of wire fraud, bank fraud, and conspiracy to defraud the United States. Todd received a 12-year sentence (later reduced by two years), while Julie received seven years (later reduced by 14 months). They are currently serving their sentences at separate facilities: Todd at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida and Julie at Federal Medical Center Lexington in Kentucky.
Savannah Chrisley, who has become a prison reform advocate, is actively working to appeal her parents’ sentences. She highlights the difficulties in maintaining contact with incarcerated loved ones, stating that the prison system “makes it almost impossible for you to communicate with loved ones. They make it almost impossible to visit.”
TODAY.com has reached out to both prisons for comment. This situation follows the recent removal of Todd Chrisley from his volunteer position as an assistant to the chaplain at his facility, a move for which no official reason has been given. Despite this, Todd Chrisley reportedly maintains hope for a sentence reduction.
