Sat Feb 22 02:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Rajasthan Farmers to Receive Increased Financial Aid Under PM-Kisan Scheme

**Jaipur, India** – Rajasthan’s farmers will receive a significant boost in financial assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme, following a recent budget announcement. The state government will supplement the existing central government contribution, resulting in a total annual payment of ₹9,000 per farmer.

The PM-Kisan scheme, a flagship program of the central government, provides eligible farmers with ₹6,000 annually in three installments. Rajasthan’s contribution of an additional ₹3,000 will bring the total annual benefit to ₹9,000. This increase was announced by Finance Minister Diya Kumari during the presentation of the state’s budget for the fiscal year 2025-26.

This move follows an earlier election promise by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to provide farmers with ₹12,000 annually. While the state has not yet reached that full amount, the additional ₹3,000 represents a substantial increase in support. Future increases may bring the total closer to the promised ₹12,000.

Meanwhile, the 19th installment of the PM-Kisan scheme is scheduled to be disbursed on February 24th, 2025, directly into the bank accounts of beneficiaries by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Approximately 97 million farmers are expected to receive this payment through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Farmers are urged to verify their bank details and complete e-KYC to ensure smooth payment processing. Those who haven’t registered for the scheme are encouraged to do so as soon as possible via the official website, pmkisan.gov.in.
