**Kozhikode, Kerala – February 22, 2025** – A national conference on “Protection of children in the digital era: Global views of child protection” was held Friday at the Holy Cross Institute of Management and Technology in Kozhikode. Organized by the college’s Department of Social Work, the event featured presentations from leading experts.
Inspector General of Police (Crime Branch) P. Prakash inaugurated the conference. Speakers included Praseen Kunnampally (Kerala Association for Voluntary Action), Sampurna Behura (India Child Protection), and Beeraj Kunnummal (Cyber Security Expert, Kerala Police), who addressed various aspects of online child safety. The conference also included discussions on relevant research papers. College principal Shyni George presided over the event.
