PATNA, BIHAR & AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT—A tragic road accident in Bihar claimed the lives of 11 pilgrims returning from the Kumbh Mela, highlighting the dangers faced by travelers. Separately, Gujarat police arrested three individuals for illegally sharing private videos of women, including footage from the Kumbh Mela and a hospital.

The Bihar accident resulted in the deaths of two entire families, with six bodies requiring cremation without being brought home. In total, eight separate road accidents across the state claimed 18 lives.

Meanwhile, in Gujarat, the Cyber Crime branch arrested three men – Chandraprakash from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, and Prajwal Taily and Praj Patil from Latur and Sangli, Maharashtra. They are accused of uploading videos of women bathing at the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj and compromising videos of female patients at a Rajkot hospital onto social media platforms for financial gain. The hospital videos were obtained illegally. Police are investigating whether Chandraprakash also profited from sharing the Kumbh Mela footage.
