Sat Feb 22 11:42:20 UTC 2025: ## Engineering Student Found Dead in Well Near Kulithalai
**KARUR, February 22, 2025** – A 21-year-old final-year engineering student was found dead in a well near his home in Sadayampatti, Kulithalai, on Saturday. Police identified the victim as S. Arun, a student at a private engineering college in Thottiyam. His legs were bound when his body was discovered.
The Kulithalai police responded to the scene and, with the assistance of Fire and Rescue Services personnel, retrieved the body. It was sent to the Government Hospital in Kulithalai for a post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
