NEW DELHI, INDIA – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the opening of online applications for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2025. The exam, scheduled for April 29th, 2025, will determine admissions to the 4-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) at various prestigious institutions across India, including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and government colleges.

Applications will be accepted online from February 20th to March 16th, 2025, until 11:30 pm. The deadline for fee payment is also March 16th, 2025, at 11:50 pm. Candidates will have the opportunity to correct application details from March 18th to 19th, 2025. The exam cities will be announced in the first week of April, with admit cards available for download three to four days prior to the exam date.

The NCET 2025 will be a computer-based test (CBT) administered in 178 cities across India, with 13 different language mediums available. The syllabus encompasses a General Test (including General Knowledge, Current Affairs, and reasoning sections) and a Teaching Aptitude section covering various subjects. The exam will consist of objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The ITEP program is a dual major, combining education with a chosen discipline.
