Fri Feb 21 23:11:46 UTC 2025: ## Local Actor Pradeep’s Latest Film “Draganum” Receives Rave Reviews
**Chennai, India –** Following the success of his previous film, Pradeep is back on the silver screen in “Draganum,” a new film directed by Aswath, the director of the super hit “Oh My Godule.” The film, which Cineulagam reports is already a hit, follows Pradeep’s character as he navigates college life after achieving high marks in his secondary education.
The movie portrays Pradeep’s character as initially a mischievous and rebellious college student with 48 academic arrears, navigating a complex relationship with Anupama while clashing with his professor, Mishkin. His life takes a turn when Anupama breaks up with him due to his irresponsible behavior. In a bid to win her back and secure a stable life, he secures a job using a forged certificate.
The plot thickens when Mishkin discovers the fraud, leading to a poignant confrontation. Pradeep’s character is compared to a young Dhanush, praised for his comedic timing and realistic portrayal of love, heartbreak, and redemption. While Anupama’s character is initially presented in a stereotypical way, her role evolves in the second half, actively supporting Pradeep’s efforts to correct his mistakes.
The film features a cast of popular YouTubers like VJ Sithu and Harshad Khan alongside established actors. Director Aswath’s modern approach and the technical aspects, including colorful cinematography and engaging music, have been well received.
However, the review notes that the film could have benefited from reducing the use of foul language and some glamorous scenes to make it suitable for a wider audience. Despite this, Cineulagam concludes that Pradeep’s performance cements his status as a promising star and that the emotional scenes in the second half are particularly strong.
