**Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh:** A 17-year-old boy was killed and his friend seriously injured when a tractor, driven by a man performing stunts for a social media video, collided with their motorbike. The incident occurred on Thursday in Jhanjhar village, Gautam Buddha Nagar district.
Lalit, a Class 10 student, was riding his bike with Munesh to collect his high school exam admit card when the accident happened. Police Station in-charge Sujit Upadhyay stated that the tractor driver was creating a “reel” by performing dangerous stunts on the road. Lalit died at the scene, while Munesh sustained serious injuries and was transferred to a hospital in Bulandshahr for treatment.
A video of the incident is circulating widely on social media. The tractor driver fled the scene after the collision. Police have registered a case based on a complaint filed by Lalit’s father, Sundar Pal, seized the tractor, and launched a search for the fleeing driver.
