**Epic Games is set to launch Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2, titled “Lawless,” this Friday, February 21st.** The current season ends Thursday night, bringing with it several hours of server downtime for the update. Players can expect a significant overhaul, trading in demon hunting for a Grand Theft Auto-inspired crime spree.

The new season introduces “Crime City,” a major new Point of Interest (POI), along with armored trains and banks ripe for robbing. Gameplay will be spiced up by the introduction of dual-wielding weapons, including a new shotgun and the Mammoth Pistol (with a potential Mythic version for returning character Midas). The Rocket Ram also returns as the Rocket Drill. Melting snow in certain areas suggests further map changes.

A star-studded Battle Pass awaits players, featuring the return of fan-favorite Midas from Chapter 2, Season 2. Joining him is Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat, promising themed powers and potentially other characters from the fighting game franchise. Other additions include the rather unusual inclusion of anthropomorphic pickles and hotdogs.
