**Hyderabad, February 20, 2025** – The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Hyderabad arrested Boppuri Anand Kumar, Executive Director and Acting General Manager of the Telangana Scheduled Castes Co-operative Development Corporation, on Thursday. Kumar was apprehended while accepting a ₹1 lakh bribe in his office.
According to ACB officials, Kumar demanded ₹1.33 lakh from a complainant in return for processing a sanctioned bill of ₹33.32 lakh and guaranteeing the clearance of future bills. The bribe money was recovered, and Kumar was presented before the Special Court for SPE and ACB Cases in Nampally. Further investigations are ongoing.
