**NEW DELHI** – The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have extended the application deadline for the RRB Group D 2025 recruitment. Candidates can now apply until March 1st, 2025, instead of the previous deadline of February 22nd. This recruitment drive aims to fill 32,438 Group D positions across the Indian Railways.

The deadline for fee payment has also been extended to March 3rd, 2025. Candidates can make corrections to their applications from March 4th to March 13th. However, the RRBs have clarified that changes to the created account details and the chosen railway zone are not permitted. Applicants are allowed to apply for multiple posts within a single RRB but are restricted to applying to only one RRB zone; applications to multiple zones will be rejected. Selected candidates will receive a salary of ₹18,000 (Level-1 pay scale).

This recruitment follows the massive 2019 Group D recruitment drive, which saw over 1.15 crore applications for 1.3 lakh positions. The 2025 recruitment will cover various positions, including Assistant (S&T), Assistant (Workshop), Assistant Bridge, Assistant Carriage & Wagon, Assistant Loco Shed (Diesel, Electrical), Assistant Operation (Electrical), Assistant P Way, Assistant TL & AC (Workshop), Assistant TL & AC, Assistant Track Machine, Assistant TRD, and Pointsman B Track Maintainer IV. Specific eligibility criteria for the posts are yet to be fully released.
