**Belagavi, Karnataka, February 20, 2025** – A cooking gas cylinder explosion injured five people, including two children, in Nandagad near Khanapur, Belagavi district on Thursday. The incident occurred in a kitchen fire, leaving 35-year-old Raghunath Basavant Madar, 30-year-old Nagaraj Kolkar, 55-year-old Masanavva Kamble, 26-year-old Manusha Kamble, three-year-old Prakrut Kamble, and nine-year-old Aradhya Nilajikar with injuries. All victims are receiving treatment at a local hospital and are reportedly recovering. Neighbors assisted in evacuating the house and extinguishing the fire. Local police have launched an investigation and notified the domestic gas company.
