Wed Feb 19 02:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Team India Unveils Champions Trophy Headshots; Bumrah Out, Rana and Chakravarthy In
**Dubai, UAE –** Team India released official headshots of its players ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, showing the squad in their tournament jerseys. The images, unveiled on the team’s official Instagram account, feature stars like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, and Rishabh Pant. India’s campaign begins on February 20th against Bangladesh in Dubai, followed by matches against Pakistan (February 23rd) and New Zealand (March 2nd). Due to a hybrid model, all of India’s matches will be played in Dubai.
However, the team will be without pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, ruled out due to a persistent lower back injury sustained during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in January. Young pacer Harshit Rana replaces Bumrah in the squad. Spinner Varun Chakravarthy, who impressed recently against England, also joins the team.
In a surprise move, opener Yashasvi Jaiswal, initially named in the squad, has been relegated to non-travelling reserve status after a disappointing ODI debut against England. He will remain available if needed. The full squad includes three non-travelling substitutes: Jaiswal, Mohammed Siraj, and Shivam Dube. The complete traveling squad is listed below:
**India’s Squad:** Rohit Sharma (Captain), Shubman Gill (Vice-captain), Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul (WK), Rishabh Pant (WK), Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Harshit Rana, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh, Ravindra Jadeja, Varun Chakravarthy.
**Non-Travelling Reserves:** Yashasvi Jaiswal, Mohammed Siraj, Shivam Dube.
