**CHENNAI, February 19, 2025** – Ayanavaram Police have arrested a 59-year-old man, D. Venkatesh, for the theft of multiple bicycles. Police recovered 25 bicycles from Venkatesh, who was employed by a private company. His arrest followed a complaint filed in November 2024 by Dinesh, a resident of Ayanavaram, whose bicycle was stolen from outside his home. Venkatesh has been remanded in judicial custody and faces charges in at least four other bicycle theft cases.
