Wed Feb 19 03:08:27 UTC 2025: ## Andhra Pradesh Students Shine in National School Innovation Competition

**Vijayawada, February 19, 2025** – Seventy-six innovative projects from Andhra Pradesh have been selected for the national School Innovation Marathon (SIM), a competition jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and Atal Innovation Mission (AIM). The projects were chosen from a pool of 8,748 innovative ideas submitted by 21,625 student teams from 5,443 schools across the state. A total of 61,027 students participated.

The selected projects will receive funding to further their development through the Student Internship Programme (SIP). Samagra Shiksha State Project Director B. Srinivasa Rao praised the students and their teachers, highlighting the competition’s role in fostering creativity and innovation. He also emphasized the state government’s commitment to strengthening Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) with support from UNICEF and Vigyan Ashram. The success is attributed in part to teacher and student workshops and training sessions conducted using a hub-and-spoke model.
