**Tehran, Iran** – Renowned Iranian voice actor Manuchehr Vali Zadeh passed away at the age of 84, after a period of treatment in the intensive care unit of a hospital. The news was confirmed by Farshid Shakiba, director of the IRIB (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting) dubbing unit.

Vali Zadeh, whose career spanned several decades, was best known for his work dubbing iconic characters such as Lucky Luke and Michael Scofield in the television series “Prison Break.” His distinctive voice lent itself to numerous Hollywood stars including Tom Hanks, John Travolta, Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, and many more. Beyond his voice acting, he also enjoyed a career in theatre and film, appearing in approximately 18 films between 1957 and 1978. He was also a regular contributor to the popular radio program “Friday Morning with You.”

Vali Zadeh considered himself a student of the late veteran voice actor هوشنگ لطیف‌پور, whom he cited as a major influence on his career. Just this past Yalda Night (Winter Solstice), Vali Zadeh gave an interview expressing his hope to spend time with his fans, but noted he was feeling unwell. He wished his countrymen a long and dignified life. His passing marks a significant loss for the Iranian entertainment industry.
