**Bengaluru, February 18, 2025** – A vice-principal of a Kolar law college and two others were arrested Tuesday for allegedly leaking a Contract Law exam question paper in late January, Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B. Dayananda announced. The leak, which occurred before the January 23rd exam for Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) affiliated colleges, was discovered via social media and reported by Vishwanatha K.N., Chairman and member of Vigilance Squad-2.

The cybercrime police investigation revealed the vice-principal’s driver, acting with his employer’s knowledge, transferred the question paper from the vice-principal’s phone and subsequently leaked it to others for financial gain. A student is also implicated, having accessed the paper from the college’s storage area the day before the exam and shared it for money. Police are tracing call records to determine if additional individuals were involved in the scheme. The investigation continues.
