**New Delhi, February 18, 2025** – A speeding Audi car caused a serious accident on Lodhi Road in Delhi today, critically injuring one person and leaving another wounded. Police report that the Audi, driven recklessly at high speed, struck a scooter near the Jorbagh Post Office before colliding with a tree.
The scooter’s occupants, identified as Naitik and Abhishek, were rushed to the hospital by the Audi’s occupants. While Naitik’s condition is reported as stable, Abhishek is in critical condition, according to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Achin Garg.
The two occupants of the Audi, both 19 and 21 year-old students, are being investigated. Police received a call about the accident at 11:45 a.m. An FIR has been registered, and police are reviewing CCTV footage and pursuing multiple leads to apprehend the accused. The investigation is ongoing. Naitik and Abhishek were reportedly returning home after visiting their grandmother when the accident occurred.
