Tue Feb 18 05:38:08 UTC 2025: ## ED Raids Multiple Locations in Kerala CSR Funds Scam

**Kochi, February 18, 2025** – The Enforcement Directorate (ED) launched raids on Tuesday across 12 locations in Kerala as part of an investigation into an alleged CSR funds scam. The raids target properties linked to several suspects, including key accused Ananthu Krishnan and Congress leader Laly Vincent.

Among the locations searched are those belonging to K.N. Ananda Kumar, chairman of the National NGO Confederation, an organization allegedly used by Krishnan to perpetrate the scam. Vincent, who claims to have only acted as Krishnan’s legal advisor, is also implicated. The ED is investigating whether the accused laundered money through the scam.

This ED investigation runs concurrently with a separate probe by the Kerala State Police’s Crime Branch. The Crime Branch has already taken custody of Krishnan and is examining his offices and bank accounts, having received 34 cases totaling ₹37 crore. Further cases are expected to be transferred to the Crime Branch.
