**RAJKOT, GUJARAT** – Videos showing women patients at Payal Maternity Home in Rajkot receiving injections have surfaced online, raising serious concerns about patient privacy and security at the hospital. The clips, which were shared widely on YouTube and Telegram, allegedly depict nursing staff administering injections.
Hospital director Dr. Amit Akbari claims the hospital’s CCTV server was hacked, stating, “I don’t know how the hospital videos went viral. Our CCTV server seems to have been hacked. We will lodge a complaint and cooperate with the police.”
The Ahmedabad Cyber Crime Police and Rajkot Cyber Crime Police are investigating the incident. A case has been filed under sections 66E and 67 of the Information Technology Act, focusing on identifying those responsible for the leak and determining their motives. Police are currently questioning hospital staff, including doctors, to ascertain the source of the breach and the extent of the leaked footage. The incident follows a series of similar incidents involving hidden cameras in changing rooms, highlighting growing concerns about women’s safety and privacy in public and private spaces.
