**Mumbai, India** – Aprilia India has launched the Tuono 457, a new naked sportbike, in the Indian market, priced at ₹3.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike, first unveiled at EICMA in November 2024, shares its 457cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with the RS457 but boasts a less aggressive design. Bookings are open, with deliveries expected to begin in the first week of March.
The Tuono 457 features a redesigned triple headlight cluster, a new fuel tank, and a distinctive underbelly exhaust. It will be sold alongside its larger sibling, the Tuono 660, and comes in two color schemes: red and black, and white and silver.
Despite sharing the same aluminum frame as the RS457, the Tuono 457 offers a more comfortable and upright riding position. Suspension consists of preload-adjustable upside-down (USD) front forks and a monoshock rear. Braking is handled by single discs at both ends, mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels.
The bike includes a TFT dashboard with Bluetooth connectivity, multiple riding modes, traction control, and ABS. The 457cc engine produces 46.6 bhp and 43.5 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox, optionally equipped with a quickshifter. Aprilia claims this offers a class-leading power-to-weight ratio.
