Tue Feb 18 08:32:24 UTC 2025: ## Aprilia Launches Tuono 457 in India for ₹3.95 Lakh

**Hyderabad, February 18, 2025** – Aprilia India has launched its new Tuono 457 in the Indian market, priced at ₹3.95 lakh (ex-showroom). First unveiled globally at EICMA 2024, the sport-naked motorcycle shares a similar design to the Aprilia RS 457 but boasts distinct styling.

The Tuono 457 utilizes the same 457cc parallel-twin engine as the RS 457, producing 47bhp and 43.5Nm of torque. This is paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch. A bi-directional quickshifter is available as an optional accessory.

While sharing the frame, suspension, brakes, and electronics with the RS 457, the Tuono 457 features a unique design, differentiating itself from other Aprilia models and even larger Tuono variants. Key visual differences include a new LED headlight with sharp daytime running lights replacing the signature Aprilia tri-bulb setup, and a slightly smaller 12.7-liter fuel tank (compared to the RS 457’s 13-liter tank). Both motorcycles maintain a curb weight of 175kg.

The Tuono 457 is available in two color options: red/black and white/grey. Bookings are now open, with deliveries expected to commence in March. At ₹3.95 lakh, it undercuts the RS 457 by ₹25,000.

The Aprilia Tuono 457 will compete with the recently launched Yamaha MT-03 (₹3.50 lakh) and the KTM 390 Duke (₹2.95 lakh). However, unlike the twin-cylinder Yamaha and Aprilia, the KTM features a single-cylinder engine.
