**PATHANAMTHITTA, Kerala, February 18, 2025** – A 34-year-old man, Jebin Paul, was arrested on Monday for attempting to steal a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus in Thiruvalla. Paul, a resident of Anjilithanam, allegedly attempted to drive away the bus from the KSRTC stand around 10:15 pm on Sunday.

Quick action by KSRTC employees and onlookers prevented Paul’s escape, and he was apprehended before he could leave the scene. Police arrived and took him into custody based on a complaint filed by station master P.K. Suresh. Paul confessed to the crime during questioning and was formally arrested and produced before a magistrate. He is charged with trespassing and attempted theft.
