**Mysuru, February 17, 2025** – The National Institute of Engineering (NIE) in Mysuru will host the International Conference on Sustainable Technologies (ICST-2025) on February 19th and 20th. The two-day event, a collaboration between NIE, Fachhochschule Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Germany), and the Institution of Engineers (India), will feature presentations on 100 research papers across six tracks, with authors from India and abroad.

A key component of the conference is a conclave showcasing advancements in sustainable technologies, focusing on areas such as sustainable energy systems, e-mobility, sustainable materials, and green computing. Panel discussions will cover sustainable energy, engineering practices, education, industry policy, product development, and the circular economy.

The conference aims to foster dialogue and solutions to pressing challenges like climate change, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Thought leaders from industry, academia, policy, and investment will participate. Prof. Shamsundar of NIE emphasized the event’s goal of bringing together industrialists, researchers, academics, and students to share ideas.
