**Chennai, India** – The highly anticipated action film starring Sivakarthikeyan and directed by A.R. Murugadoss has finally been given a title: *Madharasi*. The announcement, timed to coincide with Sivakarthikeyan’s birthday, was made on Monday via social media.
Director Murugadoss shared a teaser on X (formerly Twitter) showcasing explosive action sequences, hinting at a high-octane action spectacle. The teaser also features Biju Menon, who appears to be playing a police officer.
The film, previously known as #SKXARM, boasts a star-studded cast including Sivakarthikeyan, Biju Menon, Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, Shabeer Kallarakkal, and Vikranth. It is nearing completion, with only minor post-production work remaining.
*Madharasi* is produced by Sri Lakshmi Movies, with cinematography by Sudeep Elamon, music by Anirudh Ravichander, and editing by Sreekar Prasad. Kevin Kumar choreographed the action sequences, and Deepali Noor designed the costumes. Three VFX studios – Knack Studios, Phantom FX, and BeastBells – are contributing to the film’s visual effects.
