**KOTHAKOTA, February 15:** MLC Naveen Reddy and former MLA Ala Venkateshwar Reddy led a tree-planting initiative in Kothakota on Saturday as part of the Green India Challenge, celebrating the birthday of Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR). The event served as a tribute to KCR, recognizing his role in achieving statehood for Telangana and its subsequent development.
Reddy and Venkateshwar Reddy stated that a lush green environment is a fitting tribute to their leader. They urged for widespread celebrations of KCR’s birthday on February 17th, emphasizing the significance of the “Vruksharachana” (tree planting) and “Haritha Vriddhi” (green growth) initiatives as fitting tributes.
