**Visakhapatnam, India –** The upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) Season 18 will once again feature matches in Visakhapatnam, it was announced today. The Andhra Pradesh city will serve as the second home for the Delhi Capitals, hosting at least two games at the VDCA Stadium. This follows its successful hosting of IPL matches last year.

Visakhapatnam joins Guwahati and Dharamsala as non-regular IPL venues. Rajasthan Royals will play two matches in Guwahati, while Punjab Kings will play three in Dharamsala.

The full IPL schedule is expected imminently. While specific dates and opponents for the Visakhapatnam matches are yet to be confirmed, the league is set to begin in Kolkata on March 22nd with a clash between defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore. The season concludes on May 25th.

Speculation mounts regarding the Delhi Capitals captaincy, with Axar Patel tipped to take the reins following Rishabh Pant’s move to the Lucknow SuperGiants. KL Rahul, another potential candidate, also has significant captaincy experience.
