**Hyderabad, Telangana – February 16, 2025** – Telangana’s Roads and Buildings Minister, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, announced the commencement of work on the long-delayed Regional Ring Road (RRR) project. Tenders have been floated for the northern section, while a detailed project report (DPR) is underway for the southern part, with work expected to begin shortly.
Minister Reddy sharply criticized former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, alleging that the previous administration delayed the ₹30,000 crore RRR project and engaged in questionable practices regarding the Outer Ring Road (ORR). He stated that the RRR and its associated radial roads will significantly improve Telangana’s infrastructure and alleviate Hyderabad’s traffic congestion.
Further announcements included the completion of the Srisailam Left Bank Canal within two years. Minister Reddy also urged citizens to participate in ongoing surveys and expressed gratitude to the people of Nalgonda for their continued support. He reiterated his commitment to addressing public grievances through the Praja Vani program, acknowledging recent delays due to his broader responsibilities and previous election constraints. The minister interacted with constituents at his camp office in Nalgonda on Sunday.
