PUDUCHERRY, February 16, 2025 – Puducherry police have apprehended seven individuals in connection with the brutal murders of three young adults discovered in T.V. Nagar – Rainbow Nagar on Friday morning. The victims, identified as Deva, Rashi, and Adhi, were found with multiple wounds in a building owned by suspected mastermind Sathya, a known history sheeter.

Police investigations, utilizing CCTV footage and other intelligence, indicate the three were seen with Sathya and his accomplices near Beach Road in the early hours of Friday before being transported to the building on four motorcycles. Authorities believe the killings stemmed from gang rivalry, with the victims belonging to a gang opposed to Sathya’s. Police suggest further arrests are likely.

Opposition parties have criticized the incident, citing it as evidence of a deteriorating law and order situation in Puducherry. DMK convenor R.
