Sat Feb 15 18:40:00 UTC 2025: ## Quantum Science Center Summer School Opens Registration

**OAK RIDGE, TN [Date of Publication]** – The Quantum Science Center (QSC) announced today that registration is now open for its fifth annual Summer School, taking place April 21-25, 2025, at Purdue University. The program, a collaboration between the QSC (based at Oak Ridge National Laboratory) and the Purdue Quantum Science and Engineering Institute (PQSEI), offers an unparalleled opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as postdoctoral researchers, to engage with leading experts in the field of quantum science.

This year’s Summer School will feature lectures from world-renowned experts, interactive panel discussions, hands-on training sessions with QSC-affiliated companies, student poster sessions, and valuable networking opportunities. A new addition this year is a half-day pre-conference on April 21st, including chalk talks designed to provide additional background information for attendees.

The event will also commemorate two significant milestones: Purdue University’s 150th anniversary of engineering and the United Nations’ designation of 2025 as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology. Special programming related to these commemorations will be announced soon.

The QSC, a Department of Energy (DOE) National Quantum Information Science Research Center, conducts cutting-edge research to advance quantum technologies. The Summer School is integral to the QSC’s mission of developing the next generation of quantum scientists and engineers.

Registration is open until February 28, 2025. For more information and to register, please visit the QSC Summer School webpage [Insert Webpage Link Here].
