**Chennai, February 16, 2025** – Police are investigating the death of a 56-year-old film editor, S. Rajagopalan, who was found dead in his Ramalinga Nagar home on Saturday. Mr. Rajagopalan, a bachelor, had been living alone since his mother’s death several years ago. Neighbors alerted the Virugambakkam police after noticing a foul odor emanating from his locked house and his absence for over two days.
Upon entering the residence, police discovered Mr. Rajagopalan deceased, with his clothes torn and his body showing signs of decomposition. His body has been sent to K.K. Nagar Government Hospital for a post-mortem examination, and the police are currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. Mr. Rajagopalan’s sister resides in Pallavaram.
